Ancle CPM 5190
  • Three motor axis design provides anatomically correct motion to the ankle and subtalar joint
  • an program up to 10 individual therapy programs
  • Three modes of operation: ankle, subtalar, and combined ankle and subtalar
  • Performs reverse on load for patient safety

Continuous passive motion therapy is effective in the treatment of many clinical indications for ankle dysfunction including:

  • Joint distortion and contusion
  • Prolonged joint immobilization
  • Synovectomies
  • Burns
  • Joint arthroplasty
  • Passive mobilization of the following fractures repaired through open reduction
  • and internal fixation (ORIF).
  • Malleolar fractures
  • Distal tibia fractures
  • Talus fractures
  • Calcaneal fractures
  • Passive mobilization of the ankle after conservative treatment of lesions
  • Surgical lengthening of the Achilles tendon due to post-trauma stiffness

Range of Motion:

Plantar flexion - 40 degrees
Dorsiflexion - 30 degrees
Subtalar: Valgus - 25 degrees
Abduction - 25 degrees
Varus - 25 degrees
Adduction - 25 degrees
