Ancle CPM 5190
- Three motor axis design provides anatomically correct motion to the ankle and subtalar joint
- an program up to 10 individual therapy programs
- Three modes of operation: ankle, subtalar, and combined ankle and subtalar
- Performs reverse on load for patient safety
Continuous passive motion therapy is effective in the treatment of many clinical indications for ankle dysfunction including:
- Joint distortion and contusion
- Prolonged joint immobilization
- Synovectomies
- Burns
- Joint arthroplasty
- Passive mobilization of the following fractures repaired through open reduction
- and internal fixation (ORIF).
- Malleolar fractures
- Distal tibia fractures
- Talus fractures
- Calcaneal fractures
- Passive mobilization of the ankle after conservative treatment of lesions
- Surgical lengthening of the Achilles tendon due to post-trauma stiffness
Range of Motion:
Plantar flexion - 40 degrees
Dorsiflexion - 30 degrees
Subtalar: Valgus - 25 degrees
Abduction - 25 degrees
Varus - 25 degrees
Adduction - 25 degrees
